The new stop-motion adventures of Wallace & Gromit land on Netflix with Vengeance Most Fowl on January 3, when Gromit must save Wallace from a returning nemesis.
The animated film, produced by Aardman Animations in conjunction with Netflix, is the sixth entry in the Wallace & Gromit franchise premiering in 1989 with A Grand Day Out, followed by The Wrong Trousers (1993), A Close Shave (1995), and A Matter of Loaf and Death (2008). The second feature-length film in the series follows 2005's Curse of the Were-Rabbit, but it is a direct sequel to The Wrong Trousers.
The lovable, eccentric inventor and man's best friend continues to entertain with the latest feature film, which premiered at the American Film Institute last October and then at BBC One in the UK before its global release on Netflix.
Written by Mark Burton and directed by Nick Park and Merlin Crossingham, the series stars Ben Whitehead, Peter Kay, Lauren Patel, Reece Shearsmith, Diane Morgan, Adjoa Andoh, Lenny Henry, and Muzz Khan providing voice-overs for the highly entertaining series, which sees Feathers McGraw, Wallace's old nemesis, the villainous penguin, return with a new evil plan to re-steal the Blue Diamond using Wallace's new robotic invention, a smart gnome, against him. Our lovable duo team up like they always do with the help of Chief Inspector Mackintosh and P.C. Mukherjee to stop Feathers' evil plot.

According to the film's official summary, "Gromit's concern that Wallace is becoming too dependent on his inventions proves justified when Wallace invents a "smart" gnome that seems to develop a mind of its own. When it emerges that a vengeful figure from the past might be masterminding things, it falls to Gromit to battle sinister forces and save his master… or Wallace may never be able to invent again!"
At the center of Vengeance, Most Fowl is an endearing story of friendship that shows Gromit's growing feelings of abandonment when he feels he's being replaced by Wallace's new inventions. The latest adventure showcases their strong bond while subtly taking a jab at our increased reliance on modern technology. The latest film in the universe is funny and wholesome, with genuine laughs along the way.
