"Leverage Redemption" is back for its third season, promising more action on Prime Video, switching from the now shuttered Freevee for its new season. The series, a reboot of TNT's 2008 "Leverage," follows a team of elite criminals who stage cons and heists against powerful and corrupt individuals on behalf of exploited clients. The third season premiered three of its ten episodes on April 17 (the shortest so far) and will release weekly episodes on Thursdays through its season finale on June 5.
Created by John Rogers and Chris Downey and produced by Amazon MGM Studios, the series core actors include Gina Bellman, Christian Kane, Beth Riesgraf, Aleyse Shannon, Noah Wyle, and Aldis Hodge.
The official synopsis reveals the rich and powerful take what they want, but the Leverage Crew is back to fight for the little guy. This season, the team pits themselves against a power broker stealing the clean water under people's feet and turning it into dirty money, fight against a Mayor who's literally the judge and jury of his small town, outruns a mark who's finally caught up with them mid-con; outhustle a pool hustler with a side business in international extortion; and bring down an industrialist exploiting child labor. All this while dodging an intricate plan of vengeance from a Season One enemy and working through the fallout of their new personal relationships. But no matter what, when someone needs help, we provide ... Leverage.
